1 year and counting

Its been a year since I started working as a nurse in a hospital...

I can still remember how ecstatic I felt when our Chief Nurse told me I'll start to work. I was also nervous because 1) I'll be working on my own and 2) I don't have friends :))

This one year journey was not that easy. There were times I get humiliated, shouted at, misunderstood, reprimanded, etc. And sometimes I think that I cannot take these anymore. But thanks to my family, friends, and my new found friends (aka my fellow nurses) who continuously support me and help me. I learned that as a nurse, you must also be tough and strong to accept these challenges.

And also, I learned to be mooooore patient and mooooore understanding since we are dealing with different people from different walks of life. Different patient = different attitude / needs

Cheers to one year and counting! I'm hoping that I'll continue to grow in my chosen profession. It may not always be easy but it's always worth it. :)
