Review: Universal Clip Lens

I've been doing some window online shopping and this universal clip lens caught my attention because it was so cheap and I want to try it. I've been seeing lots of people using this lens and the results are great!
It's available in different colors btw: blue, red, gold, white and black. I chose the latter.
What's Inside?
Cleaning Cloth Bag, Clip, Macro Lens, Wide- Angle Lens, Fish Eye Lens, 2 Lens Cap

Wide Angle Lens + Macro Lens
The wide angle will allow you to conquer what was once too large a scene to capture, stretch the limits of your lens to capture cityscapes, large group shots and more.
To use the wide angle lens, you need to attach it with the macro lens just like the picture above. Both photos were taken with the same distance.
Without lens
With lens
The macro will enable you to get super close to object to pick up all those small details you usually miss.
The lens should be so close to the object because if not, the photo will just end up super blurred.

With it, your phone lens will capture rounded images instead of square ones. Fish eye lens makes the camera shoot at a 180-degree wide view.

  • I always see a bit of the edges of the lens and I really don't know how to get rid of it. Perhaps my phone's cam is a little bit bigger? But anyway, the images can just be cropped.
  • I enjoyed using the macro lens the most. I love how it can produce bokehs.
  • You can take nice shots on the go; You can just put it in your pocket.
  • It's easy and fun to use.
Have you tried using clip lenses?

  1. I saw them on eBay but couldn't decide if I really wanted. This review was so helpful. Though I don't like the black halo around the photos but I'll get myself some :D What's your phone model? I would buy them for my iPod so I wonder if they work well.

    1. My phone is a Sony Xperia Z1c. My friend who uses an iPhone borrowed the lens and he says it fit.
